Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 p/a dependent on experience

Plus access to annual bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm

 

Job role:
This is an exciting time to join the UK’s largest private healthcare telemedicine company based in Hastings, East Sussex, who are expanding their IT team due to organic growth.

 

Joining a dynamic team focusing on the successful delivery of high-level technical support and customer service to the business on a day-to-day basis. The job holder will also be responsible for the successful delivery of infrastructure system projects that underpin, complement, and align the business objectives of the organisation.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to be responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring system availability, performance, and security. Key duties include troubleshooting technical issues, monitoring system health, implementing preventative maintenance, and supporting business continuity and disaster recovery plans. The role involves proactive system improvements, technical project management, and collaboration with internal teams, clients, and third-party suppliers. Additionally, responsibilities include documentation, compliance, licensing, and mentoring junior team members while staying updated on emerging technologies.

Job requirements

Requirements:

·         Technical authority on Microsoft Windows Server architecture in a clustered, highly available environment.

·         Experience administering Linux systems, including user management, file system management, and service configuration, within various Linux distributions such as Ubuntu and CentOS. Proficiency in shell scripting with Bash and an ability to troubleshoot Linux system issues.

·         Experience configuring and supporting virtualisation technologies, particularly VMware vSphere and Azure.

·         Excellent skill sets in Microsoft Exchange, including both hosted and cloud-based solutions.

·         Excellent experience in administering Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory Domain Services and associated roles and features.

·         Experience supporting Microsoft Windows client operating systems and desktop hardware architecture in a corporate business environment.

·         Excellent experience with HP Enterprise server architecture and SAN technologies.

·         Excellent Azure Management (VMs, Storage, Networking, Entra ID, AD Services, Security)

·         Experience in managing small technical projects from conception through to completion.
