Salary: £24,720 p/a dependent on experience

Plus access to 10% annual bonus


The job role:

Working within the existing Recruitment team you will form part of the team responsible for the sourcing of clinical reporters which can include Radiologists, Pathologists, Radiographers and Registrars. You will assist the recruitment team in identifying and sourcing candidates via a range of sources including high volume calling, adverts, job boards, LinkedIn, Twitter, deep internet searches, websites, databases, headhunting and events). This will involve research, networking, and providing input into strategies to help ensure success in sourcing the highest level of talent for Medica.

The role will also involve administration and data management tasks including the sourcing, collating and management of prospect data lists for the Recruitment Manager. The main tasks will include:

    • Calling candidates and arranging appointments for the senior recruiters to engage and recruit radiologists
    • Pro-active lead generation, identifying and sourcing candidates via a range of multiple sources.
    • Researching, building intelligence, and identifying gaps in the telehealth market environment.
    • Working towards and achieving both personal and team targets on a monthly/annual basis.
    • Building distribution lists of candidates in relation to business need (Specialty, Location, Experience, etc.).
    • CV screening both in person and over the phone, selecting and shortlisting candidates for review.
    • Using social media to build your own personal network, branding and provide additional insight into Medica for the wider audience (using LinkedIn, Twitter etc.).
    • Maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system ensuring high levels of data accuracy.
    • Attending networking events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and Medica’s personal exhibitions.
    • Management of personal and team projects on an adhoc basis as assigned by the Recruitment Manager.
    • Produce weekly reports on performance and projects to the Recruitment Manager.
    • Identifying and highlighting any sales leads to the Business Development team.
    • Compliance with all internal and external regulatory requirements associated with the business.
    • Adhering to and advocating Medica’s strict Selection and Recruitment policy for the recruitment of clinical staff.
    • Additional tasks that are required to meet the need of the Recruitment team and the business.

Requirements:

Essential:

• Experience in conducting a high number of calls, ideally you will have a telesales / resourcing background with an excellent telephone manner and the confidence to communicate with people at all levels both over the telephone and face to face.
• A strong networker with an inquisitive nature and a passion for target hitting, researching, and learning.
• Determination and a ‘never give up’ attitude.
• A keen eye for attention to detail and exceptional accuracy in data entry is a must.
• Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
• Expert in the use of social media platforms.
• Enjoys a fast-paced environment and high expectations.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to juggle tasks and priorities.
• Presentable and Personable.
• Must be a team player who is able to carry out instructions as well as use initiative.
• Flexibility to travel and attend events, exhibitions, and meetings UK wide (including overnight stays and occasional weekend travels).
• Highly self-motivated with a positive and proactive attitude to tasks.
• High level of autonomy, strong work ethic and takes initiative.
• IT literate with experience of Microsoft package (Word, Excel, Outlook).




Desirable:

• Recruiting/sourcing experience in life sciences or prior knowledge/experience recruiting into a science domain.
• Knowledge of the UK Radiology, Pathology and Histopathology Market.
• Previous exposure and experience within a sales environment and/or recruitment agency.
• Experience and/or formal training in recruitment, sales or customer service would be advantageous.
• Familiar with a highly regulated, process driven environment would be desirable.
• Healthcare experience or understanding of the NHS would be an advantage.
