Salary: Starting at £30,900, rising to £32,445 p/a dependent on experience

Plus access to annual bonus


Job Role:


This is an exciting time to join the UK’s largest Private Healthcare Teleradiology company based in Hastings, East Sussex.


Joining the IT Service Desk team, you will provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to Medica’s employees and contracted medical specialists. You will be part of the on-call rota to ensure IT support is available 24/7. Your duties will be to -


  • Own, manage and escalate support calls, tickets and verbal requests
  • Onboard new staff (creating/configuring accounts, imaging laptop ready for new starter)
  • Asset management
  • Monitor alerts for key systems
  • Issue Service Desk notifications, making sure all employees and reporters are notified about upcoming changes


This is a great opportunity for someone with recent experience of working in an IT support function, and with experience of dealing with 1st and 2nd line support in a fast-paced environment, to join a friendly and hardworking team.

Job requirements

Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will be required to be in the office 5 days per week during training period, then a minimum of three times a week and live within a commutable distance from our Head Office in Hastings, East Sussex
  • Recent experience of working in an IT support function
  • Strong diagnosis and troubleshooting skills
  • Good technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems
  • Ability to effectively prioritise own workload and use own initiative
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly self-motivated with a keen attention to detail
  • Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Exceptional customer service orientation
  • Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
