Job Role:

Medica Group is the market leader in the provision of teleradiology and managed radiology services to the UK and Ireland. We are now recruiting for a Financial Planning & Analyst to join our Finance team in Ireland.
Working as part of the Medica Ireland finance team, you will be responsible for effective planning and analysis activities including budget and forecast modelling, decision support analysis, margin and profitability assessments, variance analysis, comparative trend and commercial bid analysis and support, and overall support of the growth agenda for Medica Ireland.

Job requirements

Key responsibilities:

  • Production and management of annual budgets and rolling forecasting processes.
  • Monthly analysis of actual performance and trends vs budget/forecast assumptions.
  • Margin and profitability analysis, and productivity reporting reviews with Senior Management Team.
  • Develop financial models and provide forecasting for current and new commercial opportunities.
  • Provide analytical support to the Medica Ireland and Medica Group teams.
  • Ad hoc and high value-add analysis as required.

Person specification:

  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or Equivalent).
  • Relevant FP&A industry experience post qualification.
  • Thorough knowledge in financial analysis, forecasting, and planning best practice.
  • Advanced Excel skills, and data visualisation (including Power BI, Tableau or equivalent).
  • Strong time management skills with an ability to prioritise.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and team player.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Confident committed individual who works well under pressure.
