Salary: £45,000 to £60,000 p/a dependent on experience
Plus access to annual bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm
Hybrid role where the office is based in Hastings, East Sussex

Are you a data-driven professional looking to make an impact? This is an exciting opportunity to join our Data Services department at Medica, the UK’s largest private telemedicine company, based in Hastings, East Sussex.
As a Data Analyst, you’ll play a key role in refining, staging, and delivering both internal and external data, providing actionable insights that support decision-making and drive commercial and operational effectiveness. Working within an experienced data team and reporting to the Data Services Manager, you’ll collaborate closely with colleagues and stakeholders to understand their needs and contribute to the ongoing success of Medica Group.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a suite of client and staff-facing reports that support business decisions
Create insightful dashboards and data visualizations to effectively communicate key metrics
Support the UK Management team with reports for monthly, quarterly, and annual performance monitoring and forecasting
Collect, organise, and analyse data from multiple sources, including system databases, CRM, and data platforms
Drive continuous improvement by translating data into actionable insights

Requirements:
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate significant problem-solving and critical thinking abilities: This person will be able to identify and solve problems, formulate relevant questions, and apply analytical thinking to solve complex problems. The ability to approach data with a critical mindset and develop innovative solutions is essential
Communication and Data Storytelling: Should possess strong communication skills to effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. The ability to tell a compelling data-driven story, present results in a clear and concise manner, and explain is crucial
Advanced Microsoft Excel data analysis skills, including pivot tables, Power Query, and Data Mining
Strong knowledge and experience of business intelligence and data visualization tools including Tableau and Power BI
Experience in managing and forecasting financial, operational and market intelligence data
Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and in a team
Experience working with and combining large data sets
Data Manipulation and Analysis: Data analysts should be proficient in data manipulation techniques, including cleaning, transforming, and aggregating data
Good understanding of statistical analysis methods and tools with ability to apply them to draw meaningful insights from data
