Bid Writer and Lead Coordinator

Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 p/a dependent on experience

Plus access to annual bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm

 

Job role:
This is an exciting time to join the UK’s largest private healthcare telemedicine company based in Hastings, East Sussex, who are expanding their commercial team due to organic growth.

 

Joining a dynamic team you will be responsible for identifying, managing and responding effectively to all tenders and bids, as well as to support the commercial growth and development of our business.

 

The bid writer and lead coordinator support the business development team by managing the end-to-end tender process. This includes identifying relevant opportunities, coordinating, and drafting bid submissions, and ensuring adherence to governance procedures and internal sign-off processes. The role works closely with the Business Development Support Coordinator to maintain bid best practices and SOPs, and collaborates with the Tenders and Bids Manager to develop high-quality, competitive bid responses.

Job requirements

Essential Skills:

• Strong writing skills

• Excellent at creating and producing outstanding contemporary tender/bid submission responses

• Proficiency at communicating key information using different creative forms and within restrictive word counts

• Proven experience of managing a cross-department team response to tenders and bids

• Competent in MS Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• An effective and competent communicator, both written and verbally

• An established collaborator with the ability to quickly build effective relationships internally and externally.

• Detail oriented

• Organised, self-motivated, team player

• Data driven, very comfortable with numbers and can translate data into a coherent and clear message

• Solution and results focused, ambitious to deliver excellence in execution

• Excellent analytical & presentation skills
